Forest School

Our Forest School day is Thursday every week. Therefore your child must come to school wearing their Forest School clothing and footwear but please provide a change of footwear for the rest of the day as it can get rather wet and muddy up there.

Reading

The expectation is that your child reads on a daily basis both at home and at school. Your child will be provided with a reading book and a reading record. Please fill in the reading record and return it to school each day. Reading books are changed twice a week on a Tuesday and Friday. Reading with your child at home daily will support their comprehension, language, concentration and phoneme/ grapheme recognition.

Below are some useful websites to aid your children in a variety of different areas.

Class Dojo

Class Dojo is our way for teachers to encourage students and contact parents about their child's progress in class. It can be used online or downloaded as an app on iOS and Android devices.  Please ask if you require a copy of your log in.

Snack

For morning break you can either provide your child with a healthy snack. Alternatively a range of fruit will be provided.
