Meet our School Council

Elections for our school council takes place every autumn.

Each of our classes from Year 1 to Year 6 has two representatives who meet regularly. After the meeting the two representatives report back to their classes.

Our School Councillors are wonderful role models to the other children. They help to organise fun events and meet to discuss how we can make the school a better place.

In 2022, our School Council were delighted to formally open the new MUGA pitch. We know the children will enjoy playing games in there.

Our School Councillors were delighted to open our new outdoor gym.

In the past, these are some of the ways the School Council has helped the school.

  • Design of playground murals
  • Producing the school song
  • Organising charitable events like 'The Goat Factor' to raise money
  • Choosing PE equipment and new apparatus
  • Surveying views on school meals
  • Choosing bike sheds for the children
  • Organising Sport Relief

And much more...
