Monday: Gymnastics

Tuesday: Sports

Wednesday: Dance

Our P.E slots will be both indoors and outdoors therefore please ensure your child’s P.E kit is suitable for both conditions. Please provide your child with a white t-shirt, navy/black shorts, socks, trainers / pumps, a jumper and joggers. ALL LABELLED.

Please encourage your child to begin to change themselves.

The expectation is that your child reads on a daily basis both at home and at school. Your child will be provided with a reading book and a reading record. Please fill in the reading record and return it to school each day. Reading books are changed once a week on Wednesdays. Reading with your child at home daily will support their comprehension, language, concentration and phoneme/ grapheme recognition. Below are some useful websites to aid your children in a variety of different areas. If you require any more advice or support please do not hesitate to come and speak to me.

Barefoot Books-

Phonics Play -

Each week your child will have a set of spellings to learn and a piece of homework. These will be sent out on a Friday and are expected to be returned the following Wednesday ready for it to be marked and handed out again. Our homework will usually have a Mathematics or English focus, but may sometimes relate to our topic. It is very important for children to complete their homework as it will help them to complete their work during school. I hope you will support us in completing and returning on time.

Class Dojo

Across the school we use Class Dojo as a way of encouraging positive behaviours. Children are allocated a Dojo monster. They are encouraged to gain Dojo points for doing the right thing; being resilient, good sitting, good listening, kindness towards others etc. Dojo will also be used to share class photos, learning journeys and any important messages/ reminders. Parents can access Dojo at home.

You can access Class Dojo (for adults) through this link:!/signup

You can access Class Dojo (for pupils) through this link:

If you have lost your login, please let a member of staff know and we will send a reminder.

For morning break you can either provide your child with a healthy snack or provide money for your child to spend at the tuck shop. We suggest £1 a week. Alternatively a range of fruit will be provided.

With our phonics screening check approaching in June, please use the resources below to help your child do any extra work at home.
